Hey,

Everytime i come close to getting a mini something always gets in my way.

I saw a great mini on Ebay and would have bidded on it if i could have taken it for a test drive and have a look at it but the owner had gone away for a week (he didn't get back till after the auction had ended).

And now today, my dad and i went to check out a mini out in hackham (which is over an hours drive). I finally get there just to find out that it had sold only a couple of hours after i had set up a meeting.

I just want a roundnose mini is SA!!!!!

Maybe i am being to picky, i am thinking of going for a resto project instead of waiting for the perfect mini.

Oh well sorry for the rant, but i am just annoyed in general today.

Hey there, at least with a resto job it is unique you can have it all and you know that if anything goes wrong lol you wont have to go far to kick the culprit. No joking aside have a go it may be the most pleasant suprise of your life.

I have directed him to a decent rolling Mini K. No engine and mechanicals, but not too much rust. Only needs the passenger a panel replaced, but I didn't get a good long look, so I can't really say too much. I'd love to see another mini brought back onto the road! :D

Yeh they were my thoughts exactly, if i choose a resto job then it will be more unique and more fun i guess.

Yeh andbat i know i that i haven't had that many attempts but it just seems ever time i come across a mini that is perfect for me it is out of my price range.

Well i only turned 16 last month and have only had my license for a month so i guess i am getting a bit ahead of myself

Oh yeh slinky inc i should be goin to have a look at the Mini K tomorrow. :)

Thumbs up to you mate, the roundy's are getting hard to find, but take ur time have a look all over, I only had a 5 minute squiz. It may not be as good as it looks on the outside. Also it's a K, would it have hydro suspension? Scarecorw check that! Just ask the bloke I guess he'll tell ya.

That first one sounds pretty dodgy. Was he really away for the week, or did he just want someone to buy it without viewing it?

Hey yeah it does sound pretty dodgy, but i am pretty sure that he really was going away. The mini turned out alright for the buyer anyway http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26381
