Dnybody had any success with the diy kits.

I have had several pipes made up with various success. All the pipes for the brakes I got made up are perfect, but the last couple for the cluch master to the hose have all leaked badly so I am seeing if DIY would be a better approach.

Most of the DIY ones now made in Taiwan or China are rubbish, as far as brake work using bundy tube is concerned.
They do a sort-of passable job with copper, but copper brake pipes are illegal here.

I'll let you know - just bought a cheap one off flea bay :roll:

Does the tool put the bead type nipple on the end of the tube or is that a separate fitting the double flared pipe butts up to?

KC Tools make a reasonable kit for diy, the ProAm kit
I remade all the pipes for the clubby & did not have one leak, but used all new nuts,
expensive but well worth the effort.
