I have heard many different ideas on what oils to run in my baby, It has been suggested to me by someone who races mini's in targa to run BP Corse which is a 60 weight oil, because of it's anti foaming properties considering the engine and gearbox run off the same oil, though it's not easy to come accross. What do you guys suggest

Cheap oil changed often is better than expensive oil changed rarely.

I run K-mart KMX at the moment afer a long period of Penrite HPR30. Both are good (are there any bad oils? )

If you are going to run in the Targa you could run BP Corse but if you are driving on the street it is probably a bit thick in cold weather. (slow gearchanges on cold mornings)

BP Corse is good oil, so is Castrol Edge 25W/50 (previously called GP50, then Formula R 25W/50).
Unfortunately the price of these just keeps going UP, while crude $/barrel is coming down.

I'll be trying the oil Graham Russell uses for dyno testing and recommends for all his road motors- KMart's Motorpro KMX20W/50. $15 approx for 6L. Made by Shell, apparently.
I change the oilz every 1500 miles, anyhow. 8)
