I found these rims and I was wondering what problems one would encounter fitting them. They can be drilled to custom PCD's, so could fit minis, but with the gap in the middle i'm not sure whether problems would arise. The wheels can come in +5mm offset or -35mm offset and are, as in title, 10*5's...

They are ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) rims from america.

Ahhh , potential problem then , they may be only rated to support a 250 kg vehicle and rider package , not a 6-700 kg car/passenger/luggage package , hard cornering under load may see them break .....

A question to the company about weight limits wouldn't go a stray then??? I've found others that I like now and they dont have to emptiness in the middle, but I will still enquire about the weight restrictions.

Not only the weight capacity....... but if you have an accident and the insurance company inspects your vehicle, they could decide not to pay out because the wheels are non ADR compliant, or not intended for use on a road registered motor vehicle.

They do look good though.....

When fitting aftermarket wheels you want to make sure they meet Australian standards, which will be stamped somewhere on the wheel. I doubt those ones do and I'm not sure I'd even trust them on a boat trailer

I'd recommend you to stick to road designed wheels. You can get a huge range on 10 x3.5 (LOL) up to 10 x 6 from trailer places, And they have the same stud pattern as a mini. But the clearly have 'For Trailers Only' embossed on them, I reckon those wheels would fall into that catagory.

Yes , I've seen a lot of these that are suited to light boat trailers and the like , but definitely not mini's , especially if you like to have fun on corners , results could be catastrophic . Whatever wheels you are interested in , make sure they are up to the load and have approval .
