If you want those chamfers you often have to do yourself these days. Rebonded shoes are usually just radius ground, that's it. :lol:
With these asbestos-free conflakes packet ones I don't think it makes much difference. :wink:

I have got the linings ground down to the right size for $15 from a great bloke on brighton road.

So hopefully they fit! :D

Will let you know how i go 8)

My guess is that you might be trying to fit the wider front shoes onto the back backplate. The back brakes are meant to take the narrower brake shoes.

Assemble the brakes and check that the shoes are not being pushed away from the backplate.

I have managed to fit the larger shoes to the back a while ago, but damned if I can remember how. I would have to have a look, but at a guess I think I would have modified the backplate.

Thanks mate, I have got the right ones fitted to the rear. they are noticeably thinner.

I think i have narrowed down my problem.
