Following on from this other thread , http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26814 , I was wondering if anyone knows any of the previous owner's of my sports850 .

First owner was Mrs Martha Webb , 11 Cutlers Rd Balgowlah and she bought it new on the 15/02/63 .

Next was Mrs Pamela Whyman , 12 Millwood Ave Chatswood , no idea whwn she bought it .

Next was the people I bought it from in early 92 , Mrs Robyn Hill , Baulkham Hills who bought it on 29/10/79 from mrs Whyman .

I've looked in the phone book a while ago and the people I bought it from were still there but not the others , just wondering if anyone knows them to see if they have any old photo's etc of the mini and to let them know their car is still around . Also , anyone from Sydney with old photo's of mini's , if you have any of a light green 850 with the number plate CXZ-561 I'd love to get a copy of it .

<Edit> , just removed the street address of the last owners since last I saw they are still there .

Not sure how it could be a problem as the first two are no longer at that address and the last one you can get from the phone book or online white pages , I'm not giving out any personal information , only an address that's publicly available .

True , but I think it'd be fun to be able to send the original owner a letter and photo's to say the car they bought new 44 years ago is still going and is a treasured part of someones collection ...

I often think that as the previous owner left the mini to me in a very poor state. I wonder what he would think about her now!

But then again I have been quite peeved many times about my previous owner so I'd probably bash him if I ever saw him again :lol: :wink: :P
