Cool.. I won't lead this thread on a tangent, so I won't post pics of my guitars, I'll leave that for another thread, another time...

After seeing all these other mini people with tons of books I thought, "Bugger, I need more." Went and searched the bookshelfs and didn't find any more. But I found a book called "Reader's Digest Book of the Car" And I thought it might ahve something to do with the mini. It has a tiny picture of Issigonis with his 1959 mini, but not much else...I thought. I flipped through the book and it landed on page 326. 'Parts of a standard conversion kit'. And look what the picture was....

also, no i dont want to buy one, the montego looks like a r31 which looks like a volvo 740, as much as i love volvos. 740 = ugly

hehe
If you think it looks ugly in a photo you should see it in the flesh! It looks like a Holden Camira that has sideswiped an armco fence. But it does have a 1275A+ and it has more legroom in the backseat than a Statesman.

I saw in the front of mine it has a stamp saying "Royal Australian Air For Academy, Point Cook"...On the page before hand my dad's signature is up the top with '1 sept 76' next to it... I guess he forgot to return it....haha....
