I would pay maybe $45 for a genuine tamiya shell in a shop, but not that much.
Where are you looking at getting it from?

(if it is the older model with bumpers then it is more than a good buy!)

no i wouldnt pay that much for a mini shell ...
you will find that it will only fit the tamiya m series chassis' m01 m03 m03l
i waz goin to buy a tamiya mini shell ages ago but i waz buying lots of other stuff so i didnt have enuff moolah but back to the pint i would of only paid 40 or maybe 35 for it ... that was from ozrc in geelong - brisbane

Last time I was at metro hobbies it was $29 for a 'Frewer" brand one.
Always have been that much AFAIK.
