hey guys, just picked me up a set of twin 1 and 3/4 carbies on manifold with ramflows for $470 reconditioned and a mk 1 cooper s head fully reconditioned and looks like a bit of work done to it for $500.I thoight i did very well out of that what do yous reckon?

I wouldnt necessarily say "wow cheap"........ more like "yeah, thats about the price"

for a mk1 head thats reco'd and has no cracks, that is a very good price.
The carbs you got for about the right price.

But what I really want to say is that, these parts are hard to find, so anytime you get them for those sort of prices is a bargain.

The carbs & manifold assy (IF set up well) is about the right money

the head i`d put up on the wall with the mini models & posters for keeps sake
