Just driven my clubman, that i got last week, around the block for the first time. It was great! have fixed the clutch slave cylinder so now i can change gears without crunching 8) .

When i get upto about 30 ks there is a bit of wobble coming from the front wheels (i think the drivers side wheel) and quite a loud "whirring" sound coming from the front but i dont think its the engine

Not quite sure how to tackle these problems and any advice would be great :)

Cheers, proud new mini owner

It could be wheel bearings, something rubbing the driveline or a nut come loose. It also could be a combination of these.

You may need to check the front wheels for any wobble in the bearings. With the car parked, try and grab the top of the wheel with both hands and give it a shake. If you feel any rattle that's not just the car shaking about you have an issue. If you're not very savvy, take it to a mechanic and have him check it out, you may still be able to do it yourself but best to know exactly what is going on.
