hi, does the bores have to be honed a special way or offset to make the increase of bore size. Are you able to just do a standard rebore like anyother car engine.

You need a bore... not a hone.

A hone is what is done to a bore to help the rings bed in.

You can do a standard alignment bore job to 1360cc (73.0mm).
GR did 2 for me like this, one will be stroked to get 1412cc..

Some people offset the bores a bit to make the spacing equal, this was a good idea on 1380 (73.5mm) bores as it meant later you could bore to 1400 (74mm) without getting too thin between #2 and #3.
However, 74mm pistons lately appear to be rocking horse doo doo, so it's probably less important now.
