Just a quick question, is the wheelbase of a Clubby van the same as a Roundy van? So far from searching the site I've come up with:

Std Mini: 2036mm
Clubby Van: 2134mm

Are these correct? Also is there a difference between Clubby and Roundy sedans??

Cheers peeps.

Peace.

No wheelbase diferences between clubbies or roundies , the only differences really were cosmetic , I'm not even sure if there was much overall length difference inclubbies to roundies , just the bumper is a little further out in a clubbie .

Yes, but that is just due to it's square shape

If you were to continue a roundie bonnet horizontally from the top to where it meets the vertical line from the front bumper you would have roughly the clubman shape/dimensions , they aren't much bigger than a roundie really , just seems that way .

I disagree....

Where the subframe meets the front of a morris the engine bay essentially rolls up and BACK from that point. Whereas the clubman engine bay protrudes forward of the subframe mounting point a good few inches and then goes STRAIGHT up.

I've nuthin' against Clubbies, but the extra room under the bonnet is a waste of space......... :P

Clubies are 5 inches longer than roundies.
Mini Deluxe = 10' ¼" or 3.084 metres.
Mini Clubman = 10' 5¼" or 3.13 metres.
Mini 1100 Van (Clubman van) = 3.42 metres.

Yeah there is a band of metal welded into the floor pan somewhere behind the seats I remember.

wheel base difference from a sedan to a van is approx 4 inches , whether it be clubby or roundy means nothing with regards to the wheel base,

The original floor pan stops where the sedan one does & they then added the 4inch section to the back of that for a van.

"Overall" length is a different matter & therfor the longest overall length mini is the clubby van.

easy-peasy.
