i was just wondering if a long range fuel tank would be heaps better to put in a mini then the original one? smaller tank how much more fuel goes in the bigger one?

dont forget the more fuel you will have wil increase the weight of the car and will therefore increase the fuel consumption. less fuel more often is the mini way lol

The long range factory tank holds two gallons more (7.5 in all). And don't ask me what that is in leeters Downside is, your boot becomes more of an external glove-box

I was a poor apprentice sparky once. With only ever five bucks worth of fuel in the tank, I used to drive pretty economically to avoid running out of fuel..

yeah i used to do that on my P plates, $2 every time i drove it, the needle slowly went up

What do you mean? It already is a glovebox!

The bigger tank only removes about 2 inches of space.
Why you'd pack the boot full to 100% with a battery and petrol in there I don't
know, but it's not really that much space to loose.

well it really up to u on wat ya want like i have said a number of times every one is different and has different taste

- Only thing better than a bigger tank, would be to do what Mr Cooper did and put in a second one on the other side as well.

i remeber when petrol was 80 c a ltr dam thos were the days i think that was pre 2000

i would say no need for a long range tank unless ur doin long distance otherwise just more weight and more to spill out the petrol cap
