Easy to do.

Remove battery is a good idea

Drain Tank completely

Undo the strap bolt at the back (I like to undo it to the end, but not remove it completely)

Disconnect fuel line

Remove.

The drain cock might give you some grief, just be aware that it is there and try to work around it. It goes through the boot floor and can get in the way.

Lat time I did this, I had to lift the tank up to get the cock out of the way and then tilt the base towards the center of the car to lift it out.

There should be a hole in the boot floor, it can be seen by sliding under the back of the car. It is underneath where the indicator is. You can undo the drain cock from there if you can get to it, but mostly I siphon it out with hand pump or the old fashioned way wit ha piece of garden hose (I always manage to get it in my mouth though..blah). Easiest yet, if a little slow is to undo the fuel hose underneath the car and drain it from there into a container.
