I'm heading off to WSID on Saturday if anyone is interested in comming along. If you have not been it's a great day / night. Just getting more details on the event.

You guys r so lucky to have a strip to go to, our nearest drag strip is in Townsville, a 4 hour drive away!!!!! I so wanna check that strip out, planin on headin down next year for the Sydney Jamboree.

WSID is a world class strip. I went to the opening at the begining of 2004 (and got heat sroke and I was sitting inside!!!!) .

Get there if you get a chance.

Had not been to a drag meet since Castlereagh closed. I stood at the 50m mark (furtherst you can get down the track when taking pics) and stood right on the wall the first time I got to see a TOP FUEL dragster. It was the most awesome thing I have seen., the whole world shakes.

Got my two Fav all time pix from there.

you're a bit of a pro with the camera there oz...what kinda camera did you use for those two?
