was browsing through sc850's sc12 thread and ventured across some information that turned me off it, havin a hydro car seems to make things very difficult for this kit :( unless this problem has been overcome by now with improvements to the kit, otherwise its a no go for me :(

its an awesome kit and i highly recommend it..

and it has full instructions! and he home delivers hehe

Yerp. Home delivery, gotta love it!

'92' got really worried when he saw which car I was putting it in. Mine. As he forgot to ask me if it was hydro or not. As if it was hydro, he said it's a no go. Sorry rude, still make contact with him, he may have voercome this by now, who knows.

Looks good m8.. U polished it up pretty nicely!

Nope, I was at work and when I got home my dad had been bitten by the 'fix it' bug and decided to spend an hour with the dremel going hard a it. Looks good now, I was gonna get lazy and shove it in unpolished. So cheers dad, LOL.

A blower would be great. Its bolt on power but I am told you need an engine that can cope with that. I reckon in most cases a rebuild would be necessary which to get done would be about 4K and then another 5K for the blower. Here are some more pics of the blowers Link install that I took at the Mini Experience Big Day Out.

you can add me to the "fans of 92's kit" list. Ive had mine in for about a year now, and after a little bit of tweeking, its going great guns. It its midly difficult fitting the manifold as the bolts that hold it on are around the back in a ning nong of spot, but if you take your time it eventually tightens up. Only problem i have with the whole thing is where it puts the fuel mix screw, on mine its right above the exhaust manifold which gets HOT AS HELL, so while getting my mix right, i ended up with a few burnt knuckles, but im not concerned, chicks dig scars hahaha.
Looking back i wish i polished or painted my charger and cleaned up my engine bay before i installed it but i was too excited about getting it in. Since this photo was taken ive cleaned up the wiring and put a filter on the case breather thingy
In summary, its cheap and its rad!!

if you are looking at super charging look at what the poms did 30 years ago. air forced thru carbys. carbys need to be set-up for boost. not hard to do. charger air volume is directly proportional to r.p.m. I have seen specs on super charged eng. running 45 p.s.i. boost thru two 2'' s.u.
