White Knight Hammertone Charcoal.
Sorry - don't have any pics, but I experimented with that on mine and it's magic. I think Graham Russell uses it on some now after seeing how mine came out. It's cheap and easily available at Bunnings. It looks phenomenal and also hides any imperfections if there are any.

Hammertone FTW.

For a white car = black

either that or the same colour as your stripes

Black block and head, silver for gearbox and clutch housings.

Offsets the chrome really nicely and matches ANY colour scheme.

Hides oil leaks.

I guess it all depends on what type of mini you want to have. If you want it to have a classic look, then stick with the classic green. If youre going for a custom look, then do a colour that compliments something else on the car.

For hot motors, red and silver/chrome is a pretty normal thing to do.

Black and alloy looks good in cars too..

^^ note the fan was painted silver aswell so there are no odd colours.

And a silver/grey block to match all the alloy and chrome under the bonnet.

willy's engine looks good. i'd go with green. having a red a+ for years, i'd recomend against red. its not a good classic color IMO, hard to keep clean and all the boy racers are out paint all their stuff fire engine red like calipers etc.

I painted my engine "other" and left the natural alloy.
