hey maybe it was a 998cc LS, it has the
s.e.v. marchal driving lights fitted. then again
you could option any clubby of that year with them...

it is in scarlet o'hara by the looks as well so maybe your
theory of a reshelled standard clubby is right, cos i doubt
anyone would respray one in that colour.either way
it looks pretty sweet. :D

Definately has 1275 with disk brakes.
Body number = XNFAD18Y/104777
eNGINE NUMBER 12y/ tA/ 15671

can anyone help identify?

Sorry wheels need to stay on car as I am swapping moke motor into the shell and reselling with drum brakes. I wont have to change the gearbox, as it should run the same.

Steve.

XNFAB is a 1275 LS, tho the B usually looks like a D. Yours is a 1275 LS. 12YD/Ta/H is a 1275 LS engine, which yours prolly is.

Prolly worth getting it back to standard mate. Quite rare these things. Going by ya seats it would of been a HiHo Silver one. Paint it the right colour!!!

Im not really interested in restoring this one, as I am not wanting to do up another clubman. I like them but prefer my roundie and my moke. Just really want the motor and brakes, and I will see what I can get for the rest with a 1000cc and drums in there.
I dont have much money at the moment (just finished uni), so have always wanted a 1275 in the moke, and if I make a little bit of money, that will help me finish of restoring the mechanicals on my 850, them I will have two sweet rides!.

The gauges are for lights on all of the instruments, inside, fuse bypass switches, warning lights and so on. I think there is about twelve.
There is a fair few dents in her, so the body would be a big job, although it has very little rust. A first time driver will buy her because of the 6 speaker cd, alarm, central locking, imobilizer, without considering the engine or brakes!

Thanks,steve.

lift the carpet and see what the original colour was. If it was a dodgy respray it will be a different colour under there.

Engine and brakes are now all swapped over, just have to hook up my exhaust and a few extra hoses to the 1275 and Im off and running!

Sorry to the LS lovers but mokes rule! Closely followed by roundies with clubmans coming third! (lol)
