hey all....

was filling up my mini at the local servo this morning and saw these mags that looked like hot wires for a mini...

i asked the lady bout them and she said she didnt know then the guy that ownd them pulled up.....

i spoke to him about them and he said they were boat trailer wheels....

i said to him that i think they will fit my mini and long story short.....

he lent me one to see if it fit and offered to sell all 4 to me cheap....

here are some piks.....

i am about to try and see if they fit? ?

i have seen them on a few minis... eg.

are they correct for a mini.... i know that my guards would need cutting if they are 13z, but is there any other things that say NO!

cheers...

Tait , they should be 12" hotwire's of an unknown brand , they look identical to the ones I have on the Fang and several are running onmini's without modifications . Some went on ebay about a year ago for $150 in similar condition but only one person bid on them , how much were you offered them for ?

Well done , I got first dibs if you ever want to sell them ???

You'll need to use the mag wheel nuts that are the same as the jelly bean mags , they are a thicker diameter nut than the contesta ones . Also , the good Doc can turn up your missing washers in the stud holes .

Saw the same rims on an old honda civic at the wrecker.
They were either 4x100 or 4x114 something.

They are not just twelves. they also come in 13s and they dont fit minis. you need to get the stud holes modified, but i dont know how safe that is.
