I was driving around the town taking my cousin to his leavers dinner, everyone love the mini, There were lots of hotted and old cars about, and at a set of traffic lights, i saw a BINI go past. And i said to them, right if i see it ill give it a serve. I dropped them off, and around the corner at traffic lights along came the BINI. So i hung out the window swerving all over the road and gave that BINI heaps :x  . It was really funny actually. It wasn't dangerous, but the woman driver looked shocked  , and stunned, and so did the car driver behind that.

So i was just wondering this behaviour was noramal to do to a BINI, obviously just in a bit of fun

WOW! You really are about 3 years behind hey.

 This is unreal. And yes, abuse most Bini drivers that do not wave to you.

Sorry mate I dunno if you are really a wally but based on this incident you do appear to be one.

Well then though you did "SERVE" than female MINI driver, you must be heaps cool. Damn man youre my hero.

And yea your behaviour is definitely normal, I'm sure every mature adult on this forum pops out of the window and swerves all over the road to "serve" every BMW MINI we see about. I sure know I do, hell thats the reason I own a mini just so that I can be cool like you and serve lady drivers.

I agree with Mike, are you some kind of idiot. p plate drivers have got a bad wrap at the moment and with behaviour like that, it's no surprise. You may not see a BINI as a mini, but really, what has it got to do with you if they choose to buy and drive one. All i can hope is that you don't kill anyone.

this will probably bring the hate, but ...

i actually like the BMW Minis. considering what a crap job VW did with the Beetle, i think BMW have done a damned decent job of taking a classic style and updating it. of course it was never going to be the same as the original - but a modern day Falcon isn't the same as an old XD is it?

if i had the cash, i'd gladly buy one. fun car, and safe as all hell to boot. i don't understand what has a lot of Mini loyalists in a tizz about it.

mind you, i don't give Bini drivers the Mini wave.

Ok Guys here's something i prepared eariler.

There have been a lot of floccinaucinihilipilification going on about me. And i am not a wally. Last night was a one off stupid bit of behaviour, that i do not now find at all funny. Ok, and wouldn't do it again. I just got excited with seeing my first BINI, right. It turns out we know the owners anyway, i reckon there were laughing too (i hope!).
I am not a stupid or dangerous driver, i stick to my P plater's 80km/h speed limit - how would you guys go if you had that speed limit. I'm cautios and defensive.
You guys can still think im an idiot it won't worry me, but i know that this was a one-off stupid thing that i did, and i am not an idiot
Hopefully they saw the ausmini sticker so they can come here and read my apology.

Sorry

Obviously there is nothing wrong with the BMW, Im sure they are just as fun as a proper mini (clubman).
But they'd be fun to have a go in

OK, Heres the deal, I was actually going to post aomething earlier but by the time I got here the Camel had been flamed.

I know the Camel, he's a decent guy and as far as P platers go, there are a lot worse than him on the road, a lot worse. Problem is when Camel told his story he was not looking at it from the point of view of someone who does not know him from a bar of soap, so what was said probably sounded like stupid calous actions, which maybe it was, but knowing the camel was probably not as bad as it Sounded (mind you I'm not saying what he did was OK, no one is a bigger critic of young stupid drivers then me).

Given the current climate with regards to P platers we probably all agree that what the camel did was a) Silly b) Gives mini drivers a bad name c) gives P plaers an even worse name d) regretable - but in the end he still has that one thing so badly wasted on the young, it's called "Youth".

So lets cut him a little rope and hope that the chastising he has received will play in his head the next time he thinks of doing something stupid.

I know of someone ina mini who was caught drag racing in a 50 zone at 120kmh - not a P plater. SO I say YES chip Camel for being a bit silly but DONT attack him

"Let he who is free from sin, cast the first stone"

No one is attacking, but i think that mike and I were justified in saying that it was a dumb thing to do. He has seen his error in judgment and is to be commended for it, most people would just tell us were to go, so i am happy with all. I just hope that everyone thinks twice before doing silly things in cars, and yes i would include myself in this.

Cheers

Aaron

I dont blame anyone for having a go at him as I probably would have done the same thing but I'm feeling a bit mellow at the moment. Having said all that it shows the inteligence of mini owners because on any other boeard this would have all degenerated into one big SHite Fight by now.

no ones actually asked camal what he has against bmw minis's yet??? i think they look sweet, bit pricey, but it is built well.

If only BMW made a nice high reving 4 cylinder instead of that crap they got of crysler.
