just scored 5x motors 850, 1000 and 1100 and a 1500 which i think is morris major also used in MG??
also some spare boxes..assorted doors,boots and bonnets also a moke bonnet, that morris 1000 uteback

anyway the question is......... are moke boxes different than mini ones????. i think some of the boxes came from mokes, and as i just got home and its dark (there still on the trailer) so i cant see numbers etc...hard to tell. wondered if they were like 1100's or mini and if the gears were different as the moke has bigger wheels (doesnt it)????

Good work!
I think the only difference between the moke and the mini was the final drive ratio.

From the workshop manual.
Cooper S has 3.44-1 final drive ratio
mini K 1100 has 3.65-1
mini 850 has 3.765-1
10" wheel moke has 4.13-1
13' wheel moke has a 4.27-1

Tooth counts- from Vizard HTMYM-
3.44= 18/62
3.647= 17/62
3.765= 17/64
3.928= 16/63
4.133= 15/62
4.267= 15/64

Yep they are all interchangeable.
the 17T and 15T pinions each fit both crownwheels listed. :wink:
