ok just a quick one does ur oil cap breath in any way in or out and can having a faulty one in any case some how cause a pressure problem that would induce smoking due to oil burn (assuming everything else is fine). did a pressure test on cylinders got 160 160 165 165 any help much appreciated trying to bite this one before it bites me

Yeah it can, mini engines really need to breath or the crankcase pressurises and pushes oil past seals etcetera.
Those compression values are pretty nice though, did you put oil down the bores first?

i put oil in the cylinder when i put the piston in if thats what u mean sozz im not good with names of parts but ill know what u mean if u can describe it sozz thanks for the post :lol:

No I meant oil in the cylinder when you took the compression readings - it can skew results.
