Attention all mini drivers!!
Do you feel respected on the road?
Do you constantly get cut off or cut in front off?
Do you feel invisible to every other non mini driver?..... YES?

MAD needs you. This morning i left a little earlier than usual for work to simply enjoy my mini driving experience. After a near miss from a non mini driver changing from right to left lane, things turned really ugly. Road rage was in full swing after being cut off by a non mini driver to whom i was passing and level with their passenger door. Sure its a blind spot. But thats why we have necks that turn. After a bit of yell yell and hand gesturing, i decided that i'm mad as hell and not going to take this anymore. Please help. All our lives and beloved motor cars are at risk. I urge you to first, always drive with your headlights on. And second, show your support for MAD (mini aware driver ). Education is the key. Together we can make a difference. Everyone please respond. MAD NEEDS YOU

I'm with you! I had an altercation a few weeks ago while turning into a road. I was sitting there waiting to turn in, when it was my turn to go, the idiot sitting at the T junction decided not to realise I was there and pulled out... looked up, saw me, went 'oh poo', stopped... then I let him know how I felt with the rubber I left on the road and a few choice words...

It happens all the time. This was just the latest saga..

So where can I get the sticker? ;) and when are you starting the national advertising campagne?

Why doesn't somebody with the skills design a MAD sticker - I'd have one.
I use to have a sticker on my motorbike "volvo aware rider".
Peter :)

I feel your pain brother. Thanks for the support. Education is the key. I've contacted Mr Murdoch and am in discussion regarding the national television campaign. All donations will be gladly accepted. Stickers are a great idea. I'm aiming for billboards, taxi and bus advertising, mandatory MAD ciriiculum in all states driver education.

I was going to take the airhorns off my GT during her resto...... but after reading these post, I reckon that they will be staying where they are.

Is this what I have to look forward to when I finally get her on the road?? :(

I thought it only happened to the BIGGEST vehicles on the road like when I'm out working in my B double?!?!?!

If anybodies Mini (or owner) gets hurt by another motorist whilst on the road PM me with recent whereabouts & rego number of the offending vehicle & I will be on the way in my 68tonne double articulated assalt vehicle.

We MUST stand united brothers as one against the machines that threaten the existence of the noble mini.

I too have been intimidated by these towering metal monsters that roam the streets in search to harass a mini .

I call to all our loyal brothers to join together & campain for 'MINI ACTION DAY' also (MAD),whereas we rid these metal creatures from our streets for one Sunday per month and eventually forever.
Only mini's free and safe again to travel on our streets without the constant theat from mothers in FWD's, Volvo's with bowling hats & pedestrians who jump out in an attempt to capture and cage one of us rare creatures.
We can hold the city to ransom, by clogging the streets with minis & demomstrations at FWD outlets that distribute these demons.
Come with me my brothers & engage in a revolution against the establishment to preserve our very existance.

and what are the female members of the forum meant to do, whitie? you keep going on about your brothers without taking the female mini drivers into consideration. aside from that, what you suggested sounds good.

Can we claim minis are an enddangered species?
