Several guys asked me to post pictures of my Elder EFI project, so I added a page to my website. Stop by http://www.starchak.ca then go down to the tech section.

I just bought a 2800 sq ft warehouse so later this year when it's all set up I can run the dyno any time I want to and not disturb the neighbours. That way I can confirm that my inlet manifold design works the way I intended and give out some real life torque (and HP ) numbers.

Graham supplied me with an RE13 cam which I will swap in once I get some baseline data. After that I have an Elgin 715-18 cam which I will try just to see how calm an engine can be with EFI.

It looks and sounds MUCH BETTER in the flesh. I remember seeing that at a general meeting last year MCC.

I just noticed. The pickup has distributer-less igniton, but still has a distributer...very odd. Is that just to plug the hole?

If thats the case, then the EFI would cost more than the head (pump/injectors/loom/filters/puter/regulator/hoses/etc) if everything was new and paid retail. Obviously Dean may have got things at a lower price but it's worth consideration.

Noice!

Daniel
