I need to remove 1/4 windows from my clubman so I can get painting, how the hell do they come out?

use a cold chisel to knock the screw heads off if that dont work just smash the glass or you could paint over them

Really helpful Allan ....

Undo the two short bolts on the door proper (behind the door card , have a look and you'll see the ones I mean) , then the screws on the outer edge of the window frame . Wind the window down and pull the top of the quater window towards the rear of the door , then lift it out when you can . They are very easy really , only a problem if the screws at the top are rusted .

I have unscrewed the screws, do I need big window out aswell?

How about the two bolts in the door ? You wind the window down to get the quater out then you can pull the main window out .

I pulled mine out towards the inside of the window as I found this easier (Clubby) and a bit of a twist and wiggle motion as it came. Also use tape on the metalwork around the top of the window to save the paint.
