Herewith the entry form for the WPS 12 hour at Bathurst - not the race itself but the show and shine - tremendous value here

I am entering just to get the passes

Yeah the same 427CI ones they promised to build a bunch of for us plebs, then reneged on.
Cheats....... organisers should have insisted on a production run of 500 at least, BEFORE the race.

I got invited to set up a two car team for the 12 hour. A large Australian manufacturer is looking to improve their flagging image. A couple of their cars flogging around Bathurst for twelve hours would do wonders for their sales figures. The money was going to be supplied by another company in the motor trade.

So two cars, a pile of cash and a 12 hour race. What more could you want?

I wonder if anyone else got the offer?
I wonder if anyone was silly enough to take it? 8)

See! Stuff like the Elentra should be out there running... not 2 door V8 supercards with million CI engines.

Dont you need a CAMs license for that event. It is FIA recognised so I wouldnt unless I have had some miles under my belt driving in the company of cars going 100km/h faster than you over skyline.

First you need a full CAMS licence.
Then you need a CAMS International licence.
Finally you need a CAMS "Super Licence"

Or if you know the right people you can skip a couple of steps and pay the money for the Super Licence. There is no mention of a "Super Licence" in the CAMS manual but the application form for one will turn up shortly after your name goes on the entry form.
You don't need to do anything to qualify for a "Super Licence" you just need a credit card.

Hahaha

A super licence is not a prerequisite for a parade licence

So who is in and who it bringing the logs for the campfire ????
