some of you peeps need a holiday in NZ ( the land where men are men, and sheep are nervous) there are slill loads of elves and rileys belting round the streets... more 1300's than you can shake a stick at..funny thing is they are a strictly old ladies car... would be lucky to find one without 4 bowling hats in the back window...still the odd marcos on the road.. my mates brother in law uses his to go to work sometimes, and his TVR.. Australias mini/BMC history is quite different to the rest of the world. having traveld the world a few times NZ would be the best place for car spotting..
Kiwis seem more likely to fix something and use it, rather than wrap it in cotton wool
Jap imports cleaned a lot of old cars off the streets sadly.. but still an eye opener to see whats on the road.
Gotta agree!! because they had no local industry to protect a lot of weird and wonderful vehicles made their way into the country.....its one of the few places I can say I have seen a car with wooden spoke wheels used as a daily driver!!!
