Been searching for a while and can't find anything , anyone know of plans for the rally cars roof racks that held the two spare tyres ? I've done a roughy from the tyres size and roof width but curious if there's a "proper" plan anywhere .

I've got a replica one burried in the shed (made by Rover in the 90's). PM me with what measurements you need and I'll dig it out over the weekend.

Why does everyone want them? They were only used in one rally and that was because of a stupid rule change. 8)

Have a look at my van in the members gallery with the idea for it , I have an old , unused bridgestone 10" rally tyre and a slick that would fit in with the whole idea .

By the way , is it me or do the repro ones look a lot longer than the rally ones which just fitted two wheels ? The repro's look square whereas the originals were rectangular .

There were other biggers types used at other times that held up to 4 tyres - and these available too (I think I've seen them on MiniMania..)

OK , I've only seen the bigger ones as repro's , not the smaller(2 tyres) ones , that all makes sense now . I'm wanting to make the smaller one for the two tyres .
