do the tram and the bus then do the idiot flyby like all commondoor and foulcoon drivers in Canberra?

every time you beat someone to the limit in canberra in a commy of falcon you get the idiot flyby. The I can't accelerate so I will speed to beat you.

That's one thing about the bike I have a Honda CBR with a Moto GP Repsol race sticker set on it (looks faster than it is) no one races me unless they are Serious.

However, got shattered the other night a yellow evo 3 pulled up beside me at the lights. didn't think much was tired and going home. This guy launced it really hard and I couldn't keep up no chance. Then someone at work laughed as he told me that car's just had 90,000 spent on it at regoli's and does 0-100 in sub 3's :D :D sounds like a fun car

theres a guy with a rex sti and another guy with a ferrari of sorts that live around my area, and theres a series of 4 roundabouts with short straights in between, almost perfectly suited to mini (reckless) driving. the wrx puts up a pretty good fight, but still cant keep up (and i had a coffee in one hand too  )
i always spot the guy in the ferrari going up peoples ass's when im not in the car, but one day my timing was right and it was on.........
i pulled out behind him, he sped off in a beautiful song of italian engineering but ofcourse he had to slow down for the first roundabout and navigate thru it, whereas the road is almost twice as wide in a mini.....also it helps when you dont have to try and stop 1 1/2 tons of mass.
so i was right there up his ass and its not long enough for him to open up until the next roundabout, looking in his rear mirror i gave him a wave and smile, he was pissed and we approched the third roundabout. he wasnt really paying attention and almost got T-boned from a car coming from the right. he didnt even notice he almost got writen off.
so i think he thinks that "showed that piece of ....." but there will be another time.
atleast the guy in the wrx knows its all just a bit of fun, we give each other a wave after a good battle in the morning

Dunno, cause I blew that big blue Mercedes into the weeds. 16 gears, sequential shift, Malven Star sickers - and it pulls the babes (well one at least - but only if I remember to pick up the milk). Man I spent hundreds on that thing, aint no bus gunna catch my ride.

I like it when people are friendly about it as 1970 Mini K jsut said about the rexie driver and them exchanging waves after a morning battle. That's the real fun of it.

My old man told me a story about this guy he knew in Grenfell who owned a Cooper S and was a mechanic did a fair bit of engine work to it and used to race a lot of the young guys from town but waved to each other and thanked everyone for the challenge etc. Dad still thinks this Cooper S was the fastest accelerating car he's ever seen drive on a road. He said it used to pull away from the Falcons, Zephyrs etc at 100mph.

cmon guys keep it serious, no need to ruin this thread also...
anyway..

had my 1132 in the banger for minis at the mill, and boy was that fun...
was going quickly to matm as i'd slept in, and approaching a big roundabout this current model bmw 5 series comes flying up behind me with a P plate on, so i gun it around the bout and keep it nailed, winding 2nd out to 7 grand checking my mirror, and i was keeping him away, then as i got 3rd he started to close so i backed off and went in the left lane, and as he passed he was fully checking the banger out LOL and i smiled at him hehe

then i got stuck behind a commodore going up the twisties, got fed up and passed him on a hairpin, then got stuck behind an XR6 turbo
so i was all over him, and he just turbo's away when the passing lane comes along which pissed me off.. it was awn!
so i caught back up and first hairpin, gunned it on the inside, winding 2nd all the way out again to slot infront bwahaha!!!!
he was annoyed and revenge was mine!!

then got stuck behind a mini cooper S, but that was okay and followed him to matm

i beat a bmw around a roundabout and kept him off me for a bit,

whats unrealistic, i draged about 3 cars so far since ive owned tiny the first one was my mates 1990 pulsar 1.8L he was behind me leaving his place and out of no where juz took off in the lane next to me, so im like ok ill fix u droped it back into 3rd at about 80km/h and floored it all i remember was my friend looking in the rear view mirror and his his juz opened up as he saw me flew past lol

another time was juz coming off the M7 at cowpasture rd and this BA falcon all done up fully sick bro car with the 19" mags and the exhurst, so i juz pulled up next to him and he looked at me a started reving up and im like nah i dont want to break anything, he was still reving it up so i thought ok lets go and i juz turned to him and grined :) so as the lights when green i burnt out and took off 1st gear to about 40 then second at 70 i look to my left and i could juz see his bonnet then his lane started to close so he tryed to jump ahead so i hit 3rd at around 90 then 4th at 105 juz to keep ahead till he did the dirty and tryed to run me off the road or share a lane.

the other time was against suzuki gti and well lets juz say for a standard 1100 with extractors against a turboed gti was pretty impressive cant say the guy with the gti was proud though he even had the nerve to follow me to find out what i had under the bonnet

I used to love going to Carnell Park drags (1/8th mile) at Stanthorpe , as their slogan says "the bullshit stops when the flag drops" .... Do you lot seriously think these other cars (XR6 turbo , Swift GTi etc) were really wringing their cars necks like you were and considerred themselves to be beaten ... I know what mini's can do , and love 1/8th mile drags because they beat the big cars over that distance , then they run out of top speed . You can normally hold any car on the bends though

Guys, if you are dragging people above the speed limit you deserve all the Police attention you get.
There's a time and place, built up areas are not it.... :x
Get on the track.

Note-
This message is brought to you by a guy who got run off the road and into a tree (not his fault) by a dickhead in a Porsche.
