Gday all
I came across a couple of lonely old girls the other day - a bit weather beaten, but reasonably complete.
Location is a very small place called Jarklin, located about 63 -ish km NE of Bendigo on the Loddon Valley Hwy. They are on the RH side as you pass through town on your way north.
The engine out of the 850 is inside the old workshop, whilst the shed out the back had lots of old oil tins and some seats and other automotive stuff.
There is a milk bar about 300 metres up the street, I was going to ask about the abandoned cars but they were closed.
I took some pics, but it was getting dark, please click on link and view the album "Jarklin Central NE Victoria".

I know 850's are scarce now, so if you live up that way, or want to take a trailer, why not rescue them?.
Last time I told a bloke about a mini that was behind a Torquay surfboard shop for years, he then went and bought it for a song and turned out it was a Mini Deluxe with a reasonable engine and a MK2 S transmission!
Good luck, I think we would all like to see abandonded mini;s rescued by people that are enthusiasts!
regards Gavin

Letme know how you go , I'd like the rear seat from the green one if it's the right material and the rest of it can't be saved .

sorry to say guys. these minis arent going anywhere. i spoke to a few people and they all said the same thing. the guy who owns them is not planning on letting anyone else have them. apparently people ask about them all the time. just hope he plans on fixing them. it would be a shame to have 2 very nice 850s rot away.
