all thanks to josh

and betty is being re-repaired now .. hope they do a better job this time ! :)

however, the barrel is still stuffed.
So i guess i'll have to go abck to hot wiring her every time i drive her again..
not that she'll be driven much anyway

Thank you all for the lubricant tip.. but I dont think lube would help.. because i think the wiring is stuffed

yes chris .. i'll get around to a new barrel (is that what i said last time too?)

Us Maccas boys use bricks so we don't get glass in our flannos

I would suggest fitting and old school ign switch to the centre panel ala 1971 clubby style and physically remove the steering lock altogether. I had a mate almost killed when the mini he was in locked the steering and hit a tree. He lost 4 teeth and had multiple broken bones.

LMAO ROFL at that video it's almost as good as the idiot's towing the car out the snow. it's always a good idea to have the ignition reds on when your towing just so the steering lock doesn't kick in. I souldn't laugh so hard it's someones pride and joy :D :D :D

dodgy steering locks are bad news
