i have just got my head back from a port and polisher. he has done mini heads before so i think he knows what his doing. i had a good look at the clearances between chambers 2 and 3 and they seem pretty close. there is a very fine gab inbetween the chambers. does anyone know what the minimum clearance should be.
i can happily send you a picture if needed.
thanks

I use only the Payen BK450 `black' gasket, on a 1275.
Never had one burn out, even when for a while years ago I ran 2 gaskets to get the C/R down below 11:1.

The `copper' gaskets are not as well made since they took the asbestos out. So I don't use em.
