For those of you interested mutant has a feature in Mini World January issue. It has only just been released in UK this week and has reached Technical Book Shop in Swanston Street, Melbourne via air mail.

I haven't seen it yet but they tell me it came up great.

I feel very privileged to be featured in this mag and can't wait to get hold of my copy tonight.

Let me know if anyone has it yet?

Who else's car would be better to show the world Australia can modify minis too?

Great work. The single photo of mutant a couple a months ago in mini world just wasn't enough, was it?

Jan, did you contact them or they chase you up?

Congrats, a pitty that no Newsagent up here carries Minworld  I've asked but they won't even get in in because they "don't have any demand", I guess I just don't count

Well I eventually got my hands on a copy last night. Turns out that the ones that Mini World themselves sent haven't arrived yet, but, Technical Bookshop here in Melbourne have their air mail copies.

mutant got an eight page centre spread and wait for this ..... front cover as well.

I really appreciate all the positive feedback you guys have posted and thanks very much.

When you do get to read it, the only pic that I didn't like was the one with the family one. Don't like to see myself in shots.

I actually had the chance of meeting up with Monty Watkins (Editor) in Qld. last year at the Mini Owners Club Christmas Party. We talked for ages, he is a really nice guy. He suggested I send him some photos and it went from there. Karen Drury (Deputy Editor) then happened to visit Melbourne on holidays and we took her and her then boyfriend out for a drive with a few minis and she happened to come with me in mutant. The problem they had with doing the feature was that they didn't have an Oz based photographer to do the shoot. They eventually got hold of the same guy that did my Fast Fours shoot and we did another one for Mini World.

You can send photos yourselves, if fact they encourage it, to Mini World, as they are always looking for Minis to feature in some way or another. Go for it is what I say.

Thanks again guys and you all have to get more Minis featured in the UK mag so that the rest of the world can see what we can do.

And by the way, keep yours eyes open in the February issue as MINISHOW will be featured with lots of pics.

You never know, yours could be in there as well if you attended MINISHOW.

THE COVER as well, i think i can say from all the enthusiasts here on Ausmini that you know you've made something pretty special when you get the cover of any magazine.. let alone the most well known and respected publication to do with our make of vehicle.

Once again Jan....... you must be so proud, congratulations :P
