Am at the stage of painting my engine and putting in, and I have three sets of extractors to choose from. The engine is a pretty stock 1275 with twin su's, the extractors I have are:
1. 3 into 1 all nicely painted black (no brand)
2. Perry extractors, 2 into 1 then into a two pipe elbow piece which goes into 1.75 inch exhaust (complete)
or 3. What I have been told are genuine 3 into 1 cooper s extractors, but they would need some work as they have a couple of holes and dents.

What would be best? as I have no idea which way to go?

Thankyou

My vote is for the Long Centre Branch (LCB) ones which is what I think you are describing the 2 into 1 type as.

These work well with a big bore as others will probably tell you.

I agree with Mike. I've got LCB on one car and Perry freeflow 3-1 on the other.

Doesn't matter what the question is, the answer is LCB
