People. what pressures do those of you running on 165/70/10's inflate to at the moment???. Reason i ask is that there is no info on the Sidewall of the tyre to go by............. , and i have no idea myself

I use 30 in the front, 28 rear. I have my suspension set low and firm so this suits me. At the end of the day its about personal preference, you could start with these pressures and go up or down till you find what you like/suits you. Steve

30 and 28 here also...One thing I will add though is get yourself a good gauge...you just can not trust the one at the petrol stations as other peple use them and just throughht them around...or as I experianced this afternoon some one had ran over it and stuffed the button and it could not be used.

Buy one and keep it in the car

I run 32 Front and 30 Rear sometimes it is 32 all round all seems ok to me

just remember over inflate and you were the cetre quick under inflate and you were the outside quick
i find if there is a dusty area near you drive your car onto the dust and look at the tread marks in the dust and see if the tread mark is deeper on the middle or the out side or even if even perfect inflation

There are three factors that need to be taken into consideration when setting tyre pressures.
1. Type of Tyre,
ie a yoko 008 is softer than a falken so is more grippy, so it can be pressured higher for the same result as a falken.
2. suspension setup,
this effects the way the car performs in relation to the tyre
3. Tempreture,
Air expands and contracts with fulctuations with tempreture.

When you take all this into consideration each car will be different.
Being that you are brisbane, i would run slightly lower pressures, maybe 28 all round during summer as they will expand with the heat and 30 in winter as it will contract.
Just take into consideration what you want out of your tyres. lower the pressure the softer the ride, higher the pressure the harder the ride. But remember if you are using harder tyres like the falkens you can end up a little skatey in the rear with high pressures, hence why dr mini and others run there slightly lower in the rear. try a few things and eventually you will find a good setup for your car for summer and for winter.

I run Hydrolastic and "Cumhoe" Power Stars (could only be korean) and 28 F and 26R gives a nice ride around town. If im going for a long, harder drive id probably go 30F 28R but it makes speed bumps a little hardcore..

30F 28R here, rides a little harsh on some of the great roads or should I say tracks around here so I'm thinking of trying 28F 26R

My old team leader had his mini running on the bump stops, and just had the tyres at 10 psi all the way around as suspension. Worked for him, But I prefer my car to take corner's without wanting to tear the tyre off the bead hehehehehe
