id best get back on the flashlube bandwagon. i didn't think there'd be any difference whatsoever. i just liked not having to try and squeeze the right amount in.

If the head's off for a valve job, and seats are worn, consider getting unleaded seat inserts fitted.
Not sure of machine shop fitting costs, but inserts are $55 to $70 for 4, if you bring in from MiniSpares UK.
Barney has a set in his 1293, but Mini-Ha-Ha's 1310 has the valves too big already..

Yep, I have the inserts in mine, saves mucking around with flashlube

I have hardened valve seat inserts in the head on mine, but I still run Flashlube. Why the hell not, for the extra coupla bucks a year. The engine cost over 4 grand to be built.
