yep...that part.

I have some good adhesive for glueing the edges, then the rubbers push over the glued bits. I took this out of a wrecked clubby, so it is cut to the perfect size.

I just wonder if there is an order in which you do things....should I paint on the yellow colour adhesive everywhere that is required, then push edges down, then fit rubbers all in that order???

That Miniclassic link is how I more or less did the headlining in the Landcruiser when I did it. One extra step ( and I don't know if this was pecular to the vinyl used) but after streching as firm as I could get it I was told to hit it with a hair dryer. This made it all soft and sag and I thought SH*T I've stuffed it and went to bed . Next mornig it was tight as a drum and looked perfect.

I know there was an article on how to do this in a miniworld or something a while ago, can't remember which one though. I think it mentioned using some clips to hold it all taut though while the glue dries. I don't think just the body rubbers will do the job as well.

Me too! :x
Worst job on a Mini. But if yours came out of a car, at least it's trimmed properly around the A & B pillars.

You can look at mine if you like to see how NOT to do it!

<edit> you can never have too many metal clips for this job. Forget clothes pegs, they just don't `cut it'.
