Taken.

And if it were available, over $2500 to claim.

If its really slow, get 'SLO-000' or 'SO SLOW'

Can you maybe get '850' as a custom plate rather than a historic?

Or how about just the letter "X".....

Or........... 8 FIDDY, 8 FIFTY, EIGHT50, 8 FIVE 0, MINT 50.....

Thanks everyone!

Duc I agree! The classic ones are my favourite too.

Will let you all know how I go both with the plates and regency :D

Cheers

I ended up with AUSTN64 :D But I was issued with the normal plates until the custom ones come in

And she passed through Regency with flying colours which was also good :D

So she now has SA registration!

Cheers
Matt

Thanks Ryan and willy :D

I was really worried when he was doing the inspection. The guy asked for all my paper work after about ten minutes and a few people came out to have a look. They started pointing at a few things and what not. The guy asked me a few questions ie) What year blah blah.

The guy took it for a drive around the carpark and said it goes really well for an 850! He asked if they all went like that I said "yeah, they do!" :P Then more people came out and looked at it for a while. I was certain she had failed but nope all good :D Compared to all the ricer cars that were there I think Queenie was always going to pass.

Apparently the body number recorded on the rego sheet had an incorrect number. But he put it down to a typo so adjusted the paper work for me.

So very happy :D

Matt

They didn't just put it on the brake machine?

I had to drive my own car up there. Which isn't a problem becasue I don't like other people driving my car anyways.

There was never any doubt Queenie would pass, and I'm guessing that they wanted to take her for a spin. Congrats Matt. :)

There was a huge queue today and I think it was to just save time. It was very laid back. The bloke was really nice and seemed interested in the mini. 8) Didnt even check the indicators or anything. Just drove it and signed the form after a little while :D I think the fact that it looked tidy and original helped alot.

Thanks Speedy! I was confident she would pass but you never know with these places. I had heard lots of bad stories from Regency but the only two times our cars have been there they have been really reasonable. I think the types of car and how it is presented also helps.

Cheers,
Matt
