I was at Southland last night between 7:20 and 10:20pm and had my mini parked in the carpark nearest the cinemas. When i came back at 10:20 i saw a second mini parked opposite mine. Had twin tanks, cooper s bumper bars, front badge etc. I'm not sure how to pick a real Cooper S over a replica but i'm assuming it was genuine. It was a lighter shade of green to mine. Needed a good clean too.
Anyhow... the owner must have forgotten to switch off the electric fuel pump because it was tapping away like crazy. Really loud like it was pumping air. Either it or the battery was going to die... There was nothing i could do though especially since i saw the little flashing light of an alarm on the steering column.
Hope you got home safely mr mini owner.
