arghhh

got my very first speedin fine in my mini!

claimed to have clocked me at 87! but said hes gonna put me down as 80 so i wouldnt have to be suspended for a month!

still! its bloody 215 smackeroos!!!!

quick question!!!

i was just on the phone with a friend! i was told if the cops were hiddin NOT in their car but like in peoples houses! is that still legal! (cop was standing next to a tree - clocked me goin down hill and came walking out onto the main street and flagged me)

he was telling me how people on current affair complained!! if so im making a complain too!?

is this true?

The Police do not have to be visible to you, the only requirement is that they are facing your direction of travel, not across it.

In this case he would have been facing your direction of travel.

Also, do you really want to be one of those tossers on ACA? :?

You speed, your gonna get caught. Deal with it. Many people on here before you have been caught and none have tried to get out of it, they all admit they made a mistake and take the public shaming. Maybe you should think about what didn't happen rather than what comes out of your wallet :roll:

My major regret is that we dont have uniform traffic laws and uniform fines right across Australia.

I just find it frustrating there are so many state derived variances.

I think you would find the NSW fine for 80 in a 50 zone is a few more dollars - i am not up on fine structures but i am sure that some ausmini would know
