Got a bit of a problem recently when 3 of my mates and I decided to do a road trip in the clubbie.
To cut a long story short, we had to ditch one of them because my left hand rear tyre wore a nice groove in it everytime we went over a pebble.
I now have a nice 1/2cm groove in back left hand tyre.
Is there any way of doing anything with the suspension to alter the height or should I just tell my mates to lose weight.

Just ditch the mates! Makes any mini go slower!!!

U can fit shims in between the rear trumpet and the ball to raise either side of the rear suspension, provided you have dry suspension..

Sorry.... I should of first asked if you have hydro suspension or dry?

If its hydro someone else maybe able to help out, if its dry then follow this.

Where from wat? Shims are just washers of selected thicknesses from bunnings... Rear suspension means rear of ur car left or right wheel...

This is the rear trumpet. U need to remove this and fit washers between the ball and the trumpet. This is located at the other end of the trumpet to which is shown in this guys hand.

Provided u have dry suspension... U may need to experiment with thickness's.

What profile tyres do you have on the rear? Do they have enough air in them?

Washers come in a lot of different diameters, so you will need to know wat size the inside diameter must be... I couldnt tell you off the top of my head.

A 72 clubby would be hydro unless someone has converted it.
If hydro, either it needs pumping up or the rear bumpstops have had it.
If replacing rear bumpstops, I recommend fitting the competition hydro kit.

I still thought that you still had to have it registered for 5 people even though you may have 5 seat belts.
