Yeah right, I wish. Nah its just window winder handle and door opener handle. I cant remember if I got them through Mini Spares or not. The winder is a flat piece of polished stainless with 3 holes in it, with a stainless knob which spins attached to it. The section which fits to the car is a round solid piece of stainless with that square fitting inside. Like I said its all screwed together with allen keys. Money money money, thats why I hate my car!!!!!!!

Hate the rip off spare parts industry but never hate your mini, it'll know and brake down at the least convenient time just for revenge

I bought a complete set of winders and door openers from Mini Spares I think, they seem like they are machined out of stainless, quite good quality. They werent cheap though, cost me $400 for the set of 4. Have the square fitting so the fit straighto onto minis, the winders are 3 seperate pieces, the openers are 2 pieces, screwed together with allen keys.

Sound like a lot of money. The ones I got from Repco are a 3 Piece desing and are held together by allen screws.

Wasnt Repco 4 sure, me mates a sales Rep 4 them and I woulda got it cheaper, Ill sus out me old receipts and find out where I got em. Would have to of been Mini Spares. Ive seen em on the odd car in Mini World, when Ive stood in the library (newsagent) and flicked through it. So they maybe imported from the UK, that would explain the price??

$400 for window winders...that is crazy. Don't hate your car, it didn't make you buy them.

Would the ones from repco fit on clubby winders? As long as they aren't too on the gay side they might be a goer, unless I find a picture of these morris minor ones to see what they look like.

I'm still in shock with the whole $400 price. Maybe we should start a thread 'what is the most expensive part you have bought for your mini'.

Ive got receipts for around $46 000 for my car. U name it, Ive more than likely bought it. No the car didnt make me buy it, but to get it to the elite level, the money had to be spent, I had no option!!!

God Damn Hanra. i keep going to your web page and just staring looking for little things that i missed in previous visits. I keep saying, "yeah it's worth every penny u have spent too"..........

A question that is slightly off topic - how did u get your moustache extensions on??? I just got some newies from Minispeed and i have no idea how to go about connecting them :? cos the car was built without the extensions.......

$46,000, damn that is a lot of cash. Never actually looked at your site, but it does look like a rather horn looking mini. Still $46,000 is a boat load of cash, I would be scared shitless to drive it anywhere.

The ones on mine are exact shape of the plastic ones but are cast metal, then chromed. Probably crap zinc or something, but at least they don't break!
Might be Morrie Minor ones- I'll check out my mate's 2 Minors..

Plastic ones, didnt know they made plastic moustache moulds. Yeah mine r chromed metal 1s. I have 2 metal clips for each mould, hard to explain but the are bout 1cm by 1cm, like a flat piece of metal with 2 small 90 deg tags on either side. The clips are pop riveted to the car, and mould clips over the clips. U really need to see it in the flesh. Mine was a reall ning nong of a job, stressing so much making sure I didnt scratch the car when I put them on. They are not the easiest thing to get on.

Yeah ya gotta look very very hard to find a flaw in the car. I know of a few!!!! But yeah I am crap scared everytime I drive it, thats why I hate it now. Its become so much of a burden that I stress when I drive it. I cant leave it parked anywhere, I freak out if some 1 gets to close to it!!! Its turned me into a mental case!!!! Sus the site out, I really need to get organised and make it a little more user friendly and get some more photos on there. I dont own a digi cam, and Im not very computer literate!!!!
