I have both Lemon's and the 2nd book in the Lemon's series.
Good coffee table books and only cost about 5 bucks each. There is a section at the start that sort of says 'even though I have a go at all these cars I like them as they are different' kind of crap.
It's just a book and not a highly regarded one at that so don't worry, the Moke section did annoy me, it was as if he's never driver one, if he had he'd get the moke thing. Same with Mini's a lot of poeple say to me 'why do you have a mini?' and I say 'if you have to ask you won't understand.' or 'ever driven one? No? Don't worry.'
I think the pay out of the Jag XJS was unjustified with the biggest complaints being lack of foot room, untidy wiring under the boot liner and reliability (which is justified but the other 2 aren't).
He also has a go at the Trimuph Stag for being a great idea but not a great car, hmmm, I think they are great!
