Does anybody have a copy of the article from Wheels magazine, somewhere around June or July 1966 I think, by Romsy Quints (aka Bill Tuckey) where he talks about his race with the fat geezer in the Mini, who turns out to be a copper?

I would really like to get a copy of the story to refer to when doing my article on the police Minis.

If you have this in your collection please email or fax me a copy, or place a (readable) copy of it on this post.

There is no rush - yesterday will be fine! No, seriously, I really do need it asap, so pleeeeease look through those mountains of Wheels magazines in your attic and find it for me.

Thanks,
Watto.

I think it was reprinted in the minifest 91 program.

You are a champion and your blood's worth bottling.

You are quite correct. I knew I had seen it somewhere, and I had racked my brains and gone through every conceivable book and magazine I could think of - problem is I didn't think of the Minifest programme.

Thanks for that.

Everyone else can stop looking (as if you were).

Cheers,
Watto.
