We've tried 9/32", 5/16" 8mm 9mm.... but nothing is exactly right for the heads of the bolts holding the brake backing plate to the swivel hub. HELP!....is this a mongrel size or what?....
Does anyone know what it should be?....or is it time for the gas axe?

Pat

They are not metric- they are 3/8" A/F, from memory.
May have been butchered in the past.
If fitting Honda discs I'd get some 5/16" UNF x 3/4" setscrews, or Unbrako cap heads..

Knew they wouldn't be mickrick, but nothing in AF would fit, ended up welding a bigger 1/2" nut to the one we couldn't get off. POP. love migs!
The other side was 5/16" and come out without a problem  shoulda checked that side too before asking the Q. Thanks for trying
