Let me share this pearl of wisdom with you ...

... next time your wife wants you to go shopping with her, agree to go ... when she goes into Maggie T or Portmans or whatever, you go in too, do not hang about outside the shop whatever you do ... and don't go an sit on the "husband seat" in the corner of the shop ... you must go in and you must shadow her ... you follow her everywhere, when she turns to see what else the store has, you're there ... when she moves down the line of cardigans (which match the half dozern or so she already has) you move with her ... when she reaches for the next size up, she has to reach passed you ... it takes all the joy out of shopping and she'll quickly move on ... give it try, you'll thank me

naah bad idea, then i just get bored and annoyed that i have wasted four hours doing that instead of making progress on the mini.

I don't have a problem, the wife owns as many Minis and projects as I do (ignoring the Moke projects..) 8)

When says he is someone who fights gorgonites and controls all the finances I wonder if this is a man who is not used to the comforts of a good woman.

All above board for me. Charlie always helps me with the cars so there would be no point trying to hide anything from her even if I wanted to :)

Only just started dropping hints to the wife that I need an "S" again. She just said start saving your 5 cent pieces. Might try borrowing a bit more on the new mortgage and give her a trip somewhere.
