Since I started working for a distributor of Caltex products Ive found a whole heap of products that are pretty damn cool! Although some I just cant afford

Once I will be getting though is "Enretech", it soaks up oil and fuel.

So if you are renting and you get in crap for ruining your garage floor, you can soak up oil spills with this stuff, sweep it up, and bin it.

Just thought I'd share.

Although I have been told you can use Kitty Litter also ?

One should never skimp on the zip ties.

So I have been told.

Use it in combination with degreaser.

Degrease the surface, scrub with a scrubbing brush to agitate it, and cover with enretech. Repeat.

I used it at work in the warehouse where the delivery truck was parked, worked in there on some pretty dodgy stains.

Nothing can fix that Ben... except the Gurney when I hit it on the spot hard! And it left a hole in the concrete but no oil spot... just a hole

We had a fuel pipe split in our old mini - left a massive crater in the tarmac footpath on our street - it just ate through it, an entire tank full spilled out overnight.

We were then in two minds as to whether to keep parking in that spot so that no-one would notice the 2-foot diamater crater in the footpath or to completely avoid and pretend it never happened!

I feel a touch guilty about our current rented place too - when we moved in the garage had a spotless concrete floor, one year of mini parking (and a couple of messy oil changes) later and there's a serious case of dalmation-floor going on. Started using cardboard and drip trays but even then I was still leaving drips behind. Then moved to sand and cement dust which at least soaks it up and once brushed off, leaves it a slightly more concrete-y shade of grey rather than black. Still feel bad though.

Moving out in 2 weeks so I'll be giving the floor one last cement coating this weekend for brushing off and cleaning before we leave.

Can't wait to buy my own place....

The cheapest way to get Enretech is to grab the big yellow wheely bin at the servo that is full of it. Just avoid the cameras.

If you wanna remove soaked in stains use a 1:2 mix of Turps and Hydrated Lime. I got this from the CSIRO web site, and yes it works really well.

I have made many messes in my time and this works the best i've seen.

Hope this is usefull for some of you.
