Picked my 850 up from Mini Classic this morning, and it is like a new car. Having it tuned properly and with the right needle has made it such a pleasure to drive.

I agree with what others have been saying, if you want it tuned properly, take it to Greg Malaure at Mini Classic.

He does some great work, he tuned my A+ 998 a year ago now, and it still starts easily and runs smoothly.
