No.

There are personalities worth meeting, Mad Matt for example, but no shops worth seeing. You won't find a flash shop front, concourse display car or well stocked counter anywhere. Just ratty, junk-filled workshops littered with unfinished customer and proprieter cars. Mini owners are just too tight arsed to support a shop like Delta in Brisbane.

Some of the mini specialists will bring along a pile of parts to the Muster. This will include the mandatory pile of chromed bits, books and models/miniatures.

The place that has had my shell for 17 weeks and counting without doing squat to it has room for 2 customer cars in a shop that could park about 15 minis if it wasn't full of junk.

Your experience is certainly not making ya cynical is it Mark?.....hehe

Mark is right though, they're all like that here and I've got no idea how customer's stuff doesnt get mixed up or lost etc.

Maybe one day they will realise it's 2007

Oh I don't know, I'm always keen for a guided tour around Matty's garage. Lots of interesting stuff hanging around worth looking at.

Having said that it's likely Matt will have his Twinky motor at the muster anyway so no need for a garage tour.

Readspeed used to be an adventure, it was full of junk but diving through it was fun. Kinda like scrooge McDuck diving in his money. Out of the murk was a mini monaco, a few Cooper S's up the back and piles of parts. The oddest array of shells and brick-a-brack out the front on the forecourt. Greasy old boys and matt crawling out from dark holes up the back...

Mini automotive was always good for a visit too, neat and ordered and pleasant people too imho.

If you don't like junk piles, I don't know what's wrong with ya!
