Hello all,

I'm doing this poll so I can gauge how many other 998LS owners there are out there, as I have kinda noticed there are few 998LS' left, mostly all 1275LS'.

Please help me by telling me what kinda LS you have and what colour it is (if it is original colour).

I have a 1977 998 LS... Silver Blue in colour tho it doesn't have the vinyl roof any more..

I have a 998LS silver blue, she just got her vinyl roof taken off but I'm thinking of getting a new one put back on.

Hi Beefa,
my parents bought me a 77model 998LS when i was 15. (8 years ago)
It was that duck egg blue color (ps what was the name of that color??) but someone had taken off the vinyl roof but it still had the dark blue MINI LS side stickers on it. THen dad butchered it by painting it red over dark blue to match his truck. In my parents divorce, I lost the LS to dad so my mum could keep her then new Daewoo Kalos. THe LS is still sitting in my dad's shed (head was stuffed on it) but he has all the original parts still. Im currently in negotiations with him to get it back and restore it back to original. He put a hot dog exhaust on it and old jelly bean mags, but, if and when I get it back, it will be put back to original. If anyone knows what the name of that light blue color is, It would be greatly appreciated.

Its called silver blue, most likely the same colour as Sally.

Sallys all original, she has the little console inside under the heater and he chrome strip around the roof.

I am not sure if it is the right one but the Dulux book lists "Silver Blue Met" in 76/77.
